Short answerAsk your agent, or use your browser, to publish the .md file to Overto. It renders as a page at a stable link. Teammates select a sentence to comment, the agent revises, and every version is kept.
A rendered page, not a raw file
A .md file sent as an attachment shows up as plain text with its symbols. Published to Overto, it reads like a document: headings, tables, task lists, syntax-highlighted code with a copy button, and Mermaid diagrams drawn as images. Each page has one stable link that always opens the latest version.
Comments on the exact sentence
Select words and comment. The comment keeps the quoted passage, opens in a card beside it, and reaches the inbox of people who follow the thread or are mentioned in it. Type @ to bring in a teammate who can already read the page. Resolve the thread when the feedback is handled.
Drafts before you share
A draft is a private Markdown working copy, visible only to you and agents acting for you. Your agent can save as often as it likes with overto_draft_save. When it’s ready, choose Share… to publish a saved revision. Each person can keep up to 100 drafts of up to 256 KiB each.
Every revision kept
Each publish creates a new, unchangeable version with an optional note on what changed. Your agent names the version it reviewed when it updates, so it never overwrites a newer change by accident. Pick an older version from history to read it, and roll back if you need to.
Hand the review to your agent
- Choose Copy for agent in the viewer and paste it into Claude Code, Codex or another connected agent.
- The agent reads the open threads with
overto_comment_listand the current text withoverto_artifact_read. - It revises the document, publishes the next version and replies in each thread.
A comment or mention never starts an agent on its own; you decide when it picks up the feedback. Setup for each agent: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode.
Share outside the workspace
Markdown documents can have a public link that anyone can open without signing in. It shows only the current published page; comments, editable source, drafts and older versions stay private, and search engines are asked not to index it. Turning the link off stops new requests.

GitHub-flavored Markdown, including tables and task lists, syntax-highlighted code blocks with a copy button, and Mermaid diagrams drawn as images with their source a click away.
