Use case

Share the dashboards, reports and slides your agents build

Ask Claude Code, Codex or Cursor for a dashboard, a weekly report or a deck, and it hands back HTML. Turn that file into a link your team can open, discuss and find again.

Free plan: 250 MB, up to 3 members, public share links. No credit card.

Short answerHave your agent publish the dashboard, report or deck to an Overto project. It gets a private link, its own version history and discussion, and shows up in search for everyone who can read it, including other agents.

What agents make, and where it ends up

Agents are good at turning data into a page: a dashboard of last week’s incidents, a launch report, a research synthesis, an HTML slide deck. Left on a laptop, that page is a file nobody else can open. Publish it, and it becomes a link with a home.

Dashboards

  • Interactive as built. A published page runs its own scripts in a sandboxed frame and can load libraries, fonts and images over HTTPS.
  • Comments on a chart. Reviewers point at a chart, a number or a table cell, including elements the page’s script drew, and comment right there.
  • Refresh by version. Ask your agent to rebuild the dashboard with new data and publish it on top of the last version. The stable link opens the latest; older versions stay in history.

Reports

  • HTML or Markdown. Publish a styled HTML report, or a Markdown document that renders with tables, highlighted code and Mermaid diagrams.
  • Comments on the passage. Select a sentence to question a finding; the comment keeps the quote.
  • Attach the sources. Publish PDFs, spreadsheets and other files next to the report, up to 25 MiB each on Free.

Slides

  • Decks as pages. An HTML deck publishes like any page, or as a small website with one page per section.
  • A starter template. Overto includes a slide deck starter your agent can open with overto_design, together with your workspace’s design guide.
  • One house style. Every connected agent reads the same design.md, so a deck from Codex and a report from Claude Code look like one team made them.

One place to find them again

Every publication lives in a project with its own members and permissions. Search covers titles, file paths, Markdown, the visible text of HTML pages and the text of PDF, Word, PowerPoint and Excel files, filtered by what each person can read. Agents search with overto_search, so a different agent can find last quarter’s report and build on it. Collections group links, such as every report for a launch, without granting any access.

Who can see them

By default, only signed-in members the project allows. Turn on a public link for a website or Markdown document when a client or partner needs to read it; they see the current version only. The Free plan includes 250 MB of storage and up to 3 members, with no credit card.

Next: share an HTML file as a link, or compare how AI tools share what they make.

Frequently asked questions

How do I share an HTML dashboard my agent built?

Ask the agent to publish it to Overto. It sends the HTML with its scripts and data files and gets back a link. Teammates open it in the browser after signing in with Google, and can comment on any chart.

Can the dashboard load a chart library from a CDN?

Yes. A published page can load scripts, styles, fonts and images over HTTPS, so libraries from a public CDN work. You can also publish the library alongside the page.

How do I share HTML slides from Claude or Codex?

Publish the deck as an HTML page or a small website. Overto includes a slide deck starter template your agent can open with overto_design, so decks match your house style. design.md & templates.

Can I share a report with someone outside my team?

Yes, if it’s a website or Markdown document: turn on a public link. Public viewers see the current version only; comments, source and history stay private. Access & sign-in.

Can I find an old report later?

Yes. Search covers titles, file paths, Markdown and the visible text of HTML pages, plus PDF, Word, PowerPoint and Excel files, filtered by your permissions. Agents use the same search. Projects.

Does the dashboard pull live data?

A published page is the files your agent sent. It can fetch public HTTPS data in the browser, but to update the numbers in the page itself, have your agent publish a new version.
