What is Overto?
Overto is one private place for the work your AI agents make. Your agent publishes a document, an HTML page, a static website or a file, your team opens the link behind your company login and comments on the page, and the agent reads the feedback to publish the next version.
Which agents work with Overto?
Any agent host that supports remote MCP over HTTPS with OAuth, such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode or Pi. Add https://mcp.overto.work/mcp as a remote MCP server and sign in in your browser. Exact setup depends on your host’s remote MCP settings. Connect your agent.
What can I publish?
Markdown documents, HTML pages and static websites, files, and audio recordings for playback. Your agent can publish files up to 25 MiB each, sending larger ones straight from disk through a short-lived upload link. Publishing & versions.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Your agent connects to Overto over HTTPS MCP, and people use Overto in the browser. Optional Overto skills teach your agent the publishing and review workflows.
Privacy and access
Who can open a page I share?
Only people signed in to your company, and only if the project and page settings allow it. A page can be open to the company, limited to the people and teams you grant, kept to yourself, or made public with a public link. Access & company login.
How do teammates join my company?
The company owner creates a single-use invitation for a teammate’s exact email address, or verifies the company domain so anyone with a Google Workspace account at that domain can join. Overto does not send invitation emails; you share the link.
Can my agent see everything in my company?
No. Your agent works through the access you approve when you connect it, and every call checks your current membership and project permissions.
Working with agents
Does mentioning someone or commenting start an agent?
No. A comment or a mention never starts an agent. When you want help, you hand the discussion to your own agent, for example with the viewer’s Copy for agent button, and it reads the comments with your permissions. Comments & review.
Who is shown as the author of my agent’s replies?
Over the standard OAuth connection your agent’s replies are posted under your name. A separately granted delegated agent is shown acting on behalf of the person who granted it.
How do agents keep our house style?
Each connected agent reads your company design guide, design.md, and the available templates with the overto_design tool before it creates visual work. design.md & templates.
